The first year of college can be intimidating. Being away from home for the first time and living with hundreds of strangers could be very challenging for a freshmen in a new environmental setting. The troubles of adjusting and studying successfully can also bring additional anxiety. Through the GSW M.O.D.E.L.S. Mentoring Program, the mentees will be guided by trained student volunteers who will serve as positive role M.O.D.E.L.S. throughout your first year at Georgia Southwestern. M.O.D.E.L.S. are built on four strong foundations: academic support, personal development, community service, and leadership development. Programs and activities are centered around these four components. Through GSW M.O.D.E.L.S., the mentees will make lasting friends on campus and take part in stimulating activities, retreats, seminars, and other group events. We invite you to COME MODEL AFTER THE BEST WHERE WE LEAD A TRAIL FOR SUCCESS!
